Video Playback from xx39A
« on: November 05, 2012, 06:37:05 PM »

I have four of the xx39A cameras, each running off a POE plug.

Currently have them recording to a USB drive that is connected to my WinXP home computer.

The only media player I've found that will play the .avi files is VLC.

That's not that big a deal to me, but the audio and video aren't synching up.

Can someone give me an idea of what I'm doing wrong, or tell me how you play your videos back?

Thanks,

So you're saying these cameras don't support recording to a computer?

You can record to a PC. In the settings menu, you can change the location of the saved file in "local settings".

I just tested a XX39A recording. I used Windows Media Player to play the AVI file and the audio and video were synced properly. If the syncing problem is a problem for you, try playing the file directly from your PC, not from the USB drive. You can also try a different player, such as windows media player.
