Airsight nightvision
« on: October 15, 2012, 06:56:33 PM »

Hi!  I'm new to the forum, but not X10 equipment.  I first bought some cameras and other items back in 2001, and now am back into a home I can modify, so I'm buying more.

What is hopefully an easy issue.  I recently purchased an Airsight Outdoor Wireless/Wired IP Network Camera Model XX36A.  It's a nice camera for the price.  My issue is that I can see no way to activate the nightvision and as darkness falls so does the camera's ability to see.  Am I missing something?  The setup was incredibly easy, and it monitors my electric bike in the carport really well.

Thanks in advance.  As soon as I get my XPCR installed I may be back with more questions.

I have the same problem as wchever.  Yes, the IR LEDS will come on.  They are red.
But the camera is showing darkness.

I've had to manually go out every night to adjust it.  But even that doesn't work
anymore.  Already talked to AShlie in support and no difference.  Will need to send
it back for a replacement.  Less than 2 months old.
