Airsight Cam Logged Access
« on: November 06, 2012, 07:53:58 PM »

Today my Airsight sent a Motion Detection Activated email during an hour when no one was home.  I checked the log & there is Access recorded at the same time.  Does the camera log register an Access when it sends an email alert/alarm or is this something different, possibly the system being hacked?  Thanks.

The log is tracking when an email is sent. You did not indicate how long you have had this camera, but an occasional false alarm would be normal. If you are getting many false alarms, you can reduce the sensitivity of the motion detection in the camera's setup.

Hi -- I ended up talking with x10 tech support before I saw your reply.  They were of the opinion someone "tried" to access my  camera via wireless.  The log indicates all emails sent but it as a "motion detect" entry but it lists "Access" as the program/camera itself.  I've done some tests & "Access" is only logged when I open the camera program.
