AHP and DST with CM11A
« on: November 19, 2012, 05:09:15 PM »

Since getting rid of my last WinXP computer, I've switched to ActiveHome Pro 3.318 on Windows 7, using a USB-Serial adapter with the CM11a.
FWIW, Location is set to Greensboro, NC.

I had initially programmed it during DST.  When we switched back to EST, all my timers were off (both dusk-based and timer based), so I reprogrammed the CM11A
The PC is set to EST time zone and to automatically change the clock for DST.
Now, my time-based timers are running accurately.  However, the dusk based timers fire 1 hour late, even though the dusk times are reflected correctly in the Hardware Configuration screen.  I've temporarily accounted for this by setting them to be dusk - 1 hour but since you can't set an offset greater than an hour they're still not quite right.  Also this will result in reprogramming twice a year.

Any fixes or workarounds?

Have you found a better way ?
Other than this issue, your v.3.318 is working fine with your CM11A for dusk/dawn setting ?
