Airsight XX40A security issues?
« on: November 25, 2012, 02:07:36 PM »

I had my xx40 since 11/21/2012 and have it running ( 4 days an counting)  before installing it outside. The set-ups ( alarm, email, motion, record ) are working fine.

I just got a email notification of my cameras device id ( which is correct ) but the url associated with my device is different. WHATS THAT ALL ABOUT?

Am i being hacked?

i did try to log in using that url. nothing.

also, if i set up a visitor and or operator demo is their any security issues to be aware of?

Yes, actually the ip address do belong to the camera.. so its not someone trying to access..

at times when i play around with the camera... unplug it for a length of time, turn off my computer for a length of time... this an that,, i may have to run the software again the ip address may change or it may not... as of this writing it changed from the one i used yesterday,. but its always the last number.
