I received  my usb cm15a and installed the ahp. Manually my modules work - off/on etc. I setup a timer and the module do not "always" work.

Do I have a cm15a signal problem? modules 5 feet away work or do not work and module 30 feet away sometimes work or not.

Had no problem with cm11a (until it failed) with reliability.

What's my options?

Are the problem modules a dimmer type?
If they are. Are they new to be soft start. Where they ramp On and Off.
If they are the older ones before soft start. You have to use the drop down modules type. Old Lamps (Before Soft Start).
The older ones will not process the extended X10 messaging used for soft start modules.

Brian,
Thanks for the reply. I used a new lamp module shipped with the cm15a and also appliance modules- 3 prong. I never got as far as trying dimming.

I also did not mention but the delay time for a module to execute at a given time is anywhere from 20 - 50 secs (or not at all). When I constructed a macro (simple) - when A1 is on, turn on A4, works but A4 comes on about 50 secs after A1 is turned on - the macro works but slow. the "always bright setting was also on . And interestingly, when  I have the macro execute from the PC, there is not delay for A4 to turn on but from  the cm15a, 50 secs or so.

I have been using x-10 for many, many years and never have had such frustrating problems.

Suggestions? and again, thanks for your help.

If you have any macros or modules you have deleted. Make sure the trash can was emptied. I understand old trash can mess things up.
Full time AHP users may have more details on macros. I think macros run from the PC are immediate while CM15A stored ones run differently.
