Yard sale X10 purchases
« on: January 30, 2014, 03:54:16 PM »

Hi ! Just purchased a box of X10 stuff. I have already installed hardwired cams recorders etc. I have worked in security systems years ago but am retired. I got about a dozen motion sensors MS14A several wireless cams and receivers, some wierd looking hand unit CR13A 's and many other items. I can't figure what I need to turn on the cams, they have the programmable power supplys, also do the motion sensors turn on the cams ?Also some VCR controllers UX21A. I have an idea how this stuff is supposed to work, I don't find a way to trigger the cams on/off and record the pix. Is there a book on what's needed and how to hook it all up ?For the military people out there I installed JSSIDS systems for years. They were simple idiot proof systems all conduit . Any help will be appreciated, I just have a large box with all kinds of X10 stuff in it. :'

I started a new thread for clarity.

The camera power supplies are controlled by X10 power line commands.
They use a group of four Unit Codes{1-4,5-8,9-12 or 13-16} with the same House Code.
Turn one on the other three go off with out any extra Off commands.
In your assorted X10 devices. Are there any transceivers that can take the RF commands from the CR13A, Motion sensors or any other RF device and sent them on the power lines. X10 ones where the TM751 and RR501. Some of the security consoles can also transceive X10 commands.
You can find Camera Data here: Since X10WTI went out of business and the new owners don't have all the servers functioning. Some of the photos and manuals will not be there.

You can also find individual part numbers in the specfications area.
