Still going to be really big paper weights with a company (X10) that doesn't stand behind their products name.
Hope everyone stands clear of these and goes with a reputable name that won't take your money and turn their back on you a couple months later when the product fails completely beyond repair for no reason.

Kevin22; One BIG point you missed.
The new X10 company is dedicated to customer satisfaction and is NOT in any way connected to the old X10 Wireless Technologies that left a fowl taste in ones mouth.

If they're willing to reap the benefits of taking on the name of X10, then they need to take on everything that goes with it. And they haven't.
By the way, another reason to stay away from these "new" airsight cams is the price. Find a reputable brand (I'm not going to mention names) and you will see your going to save 10-20% (for the same EXACT camera) AND find yourself without a paperweight in short time.

Authinx already had a large X10 customer base.
Privacy laws wouldn't allow customer names or contact info to be handed over.
They have no way of knowing who was a previous x10 customer

Anyone that used X10 knew the pro line was of much better quality.
This is what they always handled.
Since X10WTi closed its manufacturing plants prior to going belly up many of the manufacturing tooling and other things were lost.
You can't fix something you never could build.

Authinx has bent over backwards trying to restore servers which handled all the software to help users.
The fact that they jumped into creating a new Airsight line was from demand from people (Like you) not satisfied with the old x10 line.
Their only flaw (thus far) is trying to help users abandoned by X10WTI

Ok. Woah.  Let's keep this civil.

Yes, the new company runs the old website. Yes, the new company did us all a huge favor and brought back this forum, keeping all the old user names. No, the new company can't help with the old product line. And no, this thread serves no purpose than to degrade X10. You have to believe me when I say the new guys really are here to listen and help.

I am now locking this thread before it gets out of hand.

Repeated bashing of the old company serves no purpose here. The old company is gone. Consider this a warning to any user that wishes to do nothing other than berate an organization that the current owner of this forum has nothing to do with.
