Rechargeable LED bulbs
« on: November 05, 2014, 09:34:40 AM »

I just saw this on-line ad for these Rechargeable LED bulbs. My immediate thought was... top of the stairs, bathroom ceiling, hallway. Is it just me... or does this seem like a great idea for both safety and convenience?

I want one (or more)! I wonder if they are X10 friendly. Kinda doubt it.

A bit pricey but I agree it's a great idea.
This might be more flexible.

You might be right... it would house a mini little charger in the bulb.

I have plenty of flashlights and lanterns (I am almost a collector). But I was attracted to the idea of having the emergency system... built-in. Light switches that can continue to work even when the power goes out. I love it.
