Stumbled on a unique use for X10

Was watching a video YouTube recommended and noticed that the poster used X10 to turn on his lathe.  Thought it was interesting so here's the proof!   :'

Interesting use of a Roomba 400 series wheel motor also. Pretty ingenious gear set-up I wonder what the final use will be.

The way the video was presented, he seemed to be doing it academically.  But, I haven't followed his channel at all to know what his normal content looks like.  Maybe I should look at his content cause this one was pretty interesting.
