User Guide or Help File for Smart Macros?

I've never used the Smart Macros plug-in before.  I see some helpful information at http://forums.x10.com/index.php?topic=8207.0, but in terms of an overall understanding it really doesn't cut it.  (The AHP Help files don't even mention plug-ins, although it's a menu item!)  What am I missing? -- jclarkw
