The esr of two caps of the same ilk should be similar enough to not heat much during the test.

...and the $1.49 is for them both!   :)%

I put the 22uF/35V cap in and plugged everything back in to watch the smoke show.  I was pleasantly surprised when I plugged the set in and everything worked like new!  I'll order the new 50V caps and put it back together.  Thanks!
