« on: June 28, 2017, 05:13:06 AM »

Why has my PLC01 been blinking steadily for over an hour?

I have not seen much data on the X10Pro Power Line Repeater.
Users sheet. Indicates it take a received X10 power line command and rebroadcast it back to the power line.

Do you only have one PLC01 or more than one?
Sales indicated more than one in range of each other. Can cause an infinite loop {signal firestorm} of X10 power line commands.

The constant flashing of the LED may indicate it is in a firestorm of signals.
If you unplug it and then allow it to be off for a minute. When plugged back in. Does it immediately start flashing or does some X10 activity trigger it?

I believe you have a CM15A. In the Activity Monitor. Does it show a stream of X10 power line received entries? If it does what is the command it is receiving?

Temporarily disconnect your CM15A and see if the flashing stops. I have seen reports of some of the X10 signal coupler/ repeaters getting into a firestorm with a CM15A.

I found a Review Thread here on the PLC01.
It may give you added data on the unit.

I unplugged it just after my post above, plugged it back in and it worked again.  Blinked twice after a command from a remote, lights responded.

Can't get into AHP to see the AM, waiting for support on that crash caused by LifeJaclet.

Thanks for the information.
If it happens again. You maybe able to catch the sequence that is causing it.
