Help nubie(again) with wifi cams

GUIDANCE NEEDED!!!...I an considering a few new security cams.I would like to use wifi via my home router...what do I need to get started?...at least one cam will be 100-150 ft from router...tia...

Tuicemen:
test to see if your phone can access your Wi-Fi from the farthest location.
If it can't then a IP camera won't either without a booster or extender.
I have had luck with placing a larger antenna on the camera but not always.
Had the best luck with a inexpensive Wi-Fi extender.
