A short trip... down memory lane
« on: February 23, 2018, 02:26:02 PM »

I found this video on YouTube. It predates my entry into HA. But still a huge blast to watch.

Incredible! Brings back laughing memories. We had the CP290 but did not have HAL 2000. Instead had "James 1985" on a Commodore 64. James was similar, early version of HAL, but did NOT work as well as HAL 2000 did in this video. In fact we only tolerated "James" for about two weeks and then fired him because he would periodically turn on bedroom lights at two AM.

What fun, thanks HA Dave!

Thank you for sharing some early automation.
Was interesting stuff. The X10 kit was before my automating started.
