Oh yeah.... I knew it was coming  https://youtu.be/8lcUHQYhPTE

I for one welcome our new robot overloads.... and would like to remind them I can be helpful.

My biggest problem with the "competing voice assistances".... is getting there names mixed up.

Old thread, but there is a local radio station running a station ad in which Siri and Alexa get in to a verbal "hussy fight" when one of the DJs asks Siri a question about Alexa with an Echo in the room.  It is a riot! The station really did a great job with the voices.

Decades ago..... when I had a job and sometimes did research at work on the early years of the Internet.... I often used different search engines for different types/kinds of searches. Even today... I sometimes use YouTube for searching.... and it's not even a search engine.

I've found Siri and Alexa often return completely different search results. AND.... I understand (but don't own one yet) that Google is a very intelligent AI Voice Controlled personal assistance.
