All Lights On vs All Lights On?!
VinRin57:
I have an old alarm interface (PSC01), which when triggered used to flash the lights using the old WS467 type switches.
Now that I have upgraded to LED's and replaced those switches with WS13A type, they no longer respond to the alarm. BUT within the WiFi app, you can designate the WS13A's as a light or not a light.
Long winded question: Any thoughts on what to do with the alarm interface? Or on how to trigger the lights in an alarm event? Thank you!
Tuicemen:
The WS13A doesn't respond to all lights on/off as it is not classed as a light switch more an appliance switch.
If you wish some lights to flash with your alarm put them on a lamp module or get a switch that has dim capabilities and use dimmable LEDs.
Rumor has it Authinx ( their factory) is working on a new Wi-Fi security console. I've no info on this but if true I suspect it will work with the WM100 and how devices are configured.
VinRin57:
Thank you TM!
Was hoping for some unknown workaround hack!
Thx again!
VinRin57:
TM.. I did some further testing and it looks like the interface is not working at all.
Doesn't turn anything on or off....
Before I get the bug and replace it, it appears that if set at mode 3, it 'should' turn on and off that specific address, correct?
Would that indicate anything regardless of module type?
Tuicemen:
Older securtty consoles i believe only worked with lights.
If you have AHP you can probably create a macro that worked with all lights on and another for allights off.
