Ok,dumb question...

Is this a "PnP" device akin to the 100?  In other words, is this device all I need to get going?  Iím not in a position to purchase additional hardware and/software beyond the X10 modules that I currently have.

This is intended as a multipurpose device.

It can function standalone as a WiFi-to-X10RF transceiver similar in function to the TIP10RF device that was sold in the European market. Here, it can be paired with a TM751, RR501, PAT03, etc. to go from WiFi-to-X10RF-to-PLC.

It can plug into a CM11A or XTB-232 and function as a WiFi-to-PLC transceiver. In this mode, it is compatible with existing software for the CM11A, connecting via its internal USB-to-Serial converter.

It can also be used internal to the XTB-232 turning it into a self contained WiFi-to-PLC transceiver with a USB-to-Serial connection.

All three modes require an external 5V supply either from a PC connection or a 5V 500mA USB power supply.

All three modes have a battery backed RTC and an 8KB EEPROM for timers & macros.

It is still a few months away.
