HomeGenie will run on Windows and has a addon app for Alexa control however you need either a cm11,cm15,or cm19 connected to the PC for X10.
You also have to tell HG what X10 interface to use and to activate it.
You'd be better off picking up a inexpensive Pi and install the PiX10Image as some Addons posted here are created for Pi boards and will not work on a Windows PC. Also it needs to be running 24/7.

How can I configure the Home Genie to do power line control to the X10 modules?

The image should already be set to send X10. You need to specify a CM15 or cm11 in the setup under x10 and it must be connected to the pi.

I have been using the CM19A for many years with AHP and later with Alex10.  Do I need a new interface?

No CM19 is supported naturally in HG too. Just select the controller of your choice from the drop down in Settings->X10->Device Port->CM19 USB

You can get a lot of information on HG from the HG forum here too https://homegenie.club/

You asked to send power line control the cm19 uses RF so the x10 settings in HG needs to be set to use the cm19. By default i believe it is set to use a cm15

I imagine the introduction of a simple transceiver into the setup would resolve RL to PL. Shouldn’t be any need to adjust anything in the HG settings.

I replaced the CM19a with a CM15a.  I am missing something since none of my devices (all setup for house code E) are responding to the HomeGenie command.  I must be missing something in setup.

The Alexa echo bridge program is an add on for HG and is not working currently.
So many have fallen back to using HA-Bridge which now has a helper for HG built in.

Yes however HG first needs to be running on a port other then 80.
Recent changes with the alexa  app require any software hub to ne running on port 80 which HA-Bridge defaults to on install.

I have Homegenie on 8080 and HA-Bridge on 80.  How do I get the two to talk to each other?

In HA-Bridge click on bridge control and scroll down to the HomeGenie helper. Enter in the HG ip and port then click add at far rigjt go to the top and clck save. A reinitalizein of the bridge will display a HG tab open it and youll see all lights and switches configured in HG provided you named them.
Now select the devices you want Alexa to control and add them.
Once you have all devices added ask Alexa to discover devices.

I do not see a HomeGenie Helper.  Can it be added?

If your running the latest build of HA-Bridge then the HomeGenie helper is included.the setup for HG should be right above the nest setup in the bridge setup page.
