Crash During Hardware Configuration
« on: April 01, 2005, 08:32:25 AM »

At the top of the Hardware Configuration
screen under "location" it reads "Custom".

If I open the drop down box there are no
choices, just "Custom".

As soon as I uncheck the "Show US & Canada"
box the program crashes with the following:

Active Home Professional has encountered a
problem and needs to close.
We are sorry for the inconvenience.

AppName: activehm.exe AppVer: 3.0.0.183
ModName: ahp.dll
ModVer: 3.0.0.183 Offset: 0005108f

Any suggestions?

Rick C: When you see the "Custom" entry in
the menu, scroll up. Custom is at the bottom
of the city list, and you can scroll up to
find your city.

You shouldn't have a crash using the US &
Canada box, though. If you select a city and
then try that box, does it still crash?

There are no scroll bars and no cities
above/below "Custom".

So, I cannot try selecting a different city
to see if crash still occurs.

This sounds like the file containing the
cities data may not be present, or that
there's a problem loading it. Can you try
installing ActiveHome Pro again with the
original, complete installer?
