Lights turn on automatically

Hello, here is my problem...Everyday between
3pm-5pm 5 out of my 6 lamp units turn on at
levels indicated in one of the macros...Now,
the timer doesnt show anytime between
3pm-5pm...I only have that MAcro to trigger
at dawn which is 7:20 or so now...that timer
works everyday so i know my interface time is
right...any suggestions?

Do you have any motion sensors that can
trigger that macro? Is anyone home at the
time those lamps turn on?

If you click on the "Timers" title in the
group pane on the left, is there a stray
timer there for that macro? Any chance of a
pet stepping on a remote or something silly
like that?

Hi Mark,
If you can, leave the computer running and
then look at the Tools -> Activety Monitor
for the times of the triggers. I would be
curious what that might show.

It's quite possible you have a neighbor who
is using X10 on the same housecode and the
signal is leaking over to your house via a
common connection to the power company
transformer.
Try using a different housecode.

Yesterday it worked.
Today it doesn't work.
X10 on Windows is like that.

Ok, I changed my codes on all macros and
modules and Ill leave the activity monitor
open tomorrow and ill let you guys know  what
happens tomorrow between 3-5pm

Hello, everything seems to be working fine
while the computer is on, yesterday i turned
it off and when i came back from work, one of
the  macros had been activated while i was at
work...I checked the battery status and the
"red" light  next to battery status is on,
does that have anything to do with triggering
the macro 3-4 hours before it is scheduled to
go off?

The red light next to battery status means
that the interface doesn't have batteries in
it. That will create problems if you're
downloading timers and macros, then moving
the interface to a different outlet.
