Vallium should be prescribed with AHP
« on: May 20, 2005, 09:04:40 PM »

I have just received a second CM15a unit
after the first one forgot timers and
couldn't figure out delays after being
unplugged from the PC.

Generally, when a replacement product is
sent, it works, or at least works better
than the faulty unit....this one works
differently!

This new little beauty has a mind of its
own.  When the memory is cleared I can
issue RF commands (such as C1 On and OFF)
and it passes through the command to the
switch and does what it should.  However,
when timers etc are downloaded to the
device, it no longer will obey the most
simple ON/OFF commands.  For example, if I
use a trigger C1 for a macro and I have X10
devices on C1, AHP ignores ON/OFF commands
for C1 (issued by RF only - PC commands
work), but performs the other tasks in the
Macro triggered by C1 such as C2 On/OFF!

I think the replacement model has an update
for LifeStyle mode called AsylumMode where
the CM15a performs the tasks that it
wants......

My old unit did not do this.

Any ideas?

"AsylumMode"!  It's not a bug, it's a
feature!  LOL!
