Post removal
« on: May 31, 2005, 03:00:35 PM »

I've removed some posts/threads that were
started by or taken over by disruptive users.
These are open forums, but this kind of
maintenance is sometimes needed in the
interest of keeping the community function
and useful.

We agree that having verified registration
would be valuable for the forums in general,
and are working on some options for that.

X10 Pro. Some of the threads seem to be
mixed. Like three or more headders lumped
into one headding on the web page? Maybe you
pruning messed the links. Also can someone
else use Brian H.? I have seen messages with
both mine and someone else using Brian H.
Also you have been very patient with some
messages and they where getting bad.

I have not been keeping up with the forums
because of this. It seems you always have a
few that try to ruin a good thing.

Thanks again for the clean up.

HJ Flynn, you probably have not been
keeping up on the forums because you have a
real life.

One thing I don't get is this:
Why keep posting negative things to a forum
for a product that you don't own anymore? If
you returned the product, and bought
something else, then why keep bothering
those of use who have the X10 system, and
want to discuss it. What do you think you
are accomplishing by posting the same
negative comments over and over again? How
does that help anyone else?
I read the forums on a daily basis, and I
have gotten a lot of helpful information
from them. Please let those people who want
to gain from these forums do so.

Check out AccessX10.com. You will not find
the trash that is posted here.
