Some trouble once I upgraded to ActiveHome Pro

When I was using CM11A, everything worked
wonderfully.  Now that I have installed
CM15A, some of my LM465s won't work.  I
tried a plug-in coupler, but it didn't
help.  I also tried changing my modules to
different codes, but they still don't
work.  My house is only 1800 sq. ft.
I can see the switches turning off and on
in the software when they are actived by
the remote, but when I try to control the
modules from the screen, they won't respond.
I still have CM11A installed, should I
remove it?
How can I see if the plug-in coupler made a
difference?

Any suggestions?

James:  I would unplug the CM11A and plug
the CM15A into THAT OUTLET.  If an
electrical outlet is too close to something
that sucks up powerline noise (a noise
trap), its signal can be weakened (UPSes
and powerbars frequently have noise traps
in them).  Devices that transmit X10
signals (such as the CM11A) can degrade the
powerline signal, but this is less likely
the cause of your problems.

If this doesn’t solve your problem, my
guess would be that your CM15A isn’t
driving a strong enough signal.

As for checking the effectiveness of your
plug-in coupler, the only way to really do
it is to measure the signal strength
throughout the house with and without the
coupler.  That requires a signal meter
though.  Other than that, the only way to
determine its effectiveness is to see if
modules are working more reliably.
