Can not pan cams - nor connect sometimes

I can not pan any cams. Neither local or
remote,,but camera switching is normal. I
even tried an extension core from the same
outlet the control unit is plugged into..
any ideas?

Also, 1/2 the time i can not remotely
connect,,,but maybe in an hour or 2 it
connects?
