macros for motion sensors
« on: July 20, 2006, 04:18:00 AM »

I am totally new at this and am beginning to think I bought the wrong stuff. >:(
I have everything for AHP plus a multiple camera system which I would love to move from
preset to preset on the same camera with motion sensors.
Have them all setup but can't figure how to move them to the different presets. >:(
When I go into smart macros the motion sensors don't appear in the right side. sShould they?
Any help would be appreciated.

You will need the I Witness plug in to use video functions. If you have that you will need to set up a separate macro for each motion sensor.Set each macro to the same unit and house code as the motion sensor you want to trigger it. The macro for each sensor will need to contain the information to tell the camera to scan to the desired preset.

I am at work now but when I get home I can give you more detail if you need it.

As JimC states above, you can use the video functions from the iWitness module and make the macro triggered by the motion sensor to select a camera, go to a speccific preset, or center the camera, or sweep the presets.
