Need help with multi cams
« on: January 14, 2006, 09:47:51 PM »

I have two x10 cams on ninjas. I have two
other infrared cams also. I put apliance
modules on each infrared cam. When I use
the remote to switch from one cam to the
next, the x10 cams work right but the
others wont turn off when the next one
comes on. Is there something special about
the power supplies for the x10 cams?

Yes. The camera power supplies work in
groups of four. House Code plus a Unit Code
of:1-4;5-8;9-12 and 13-16. When one in the
group is turned ON the other three turn OFF.
Appliance Modules are not made to work that
way. You turn it ON it will not go off with
out a specfic OFF command from a controller
or remote through a tranceiver.

Ok, thanks. Guess I'll see if I can set up
some kind of macro in AHP.
