Wired Cameras
« on: July 15, 2005, 11:02:04 PM »

Sounds like many products from this company
have alot of complaints.  Glad I read the
forum first.  What about the "wired"
cameras?  Has anyone used this type and
what are the results? Thanks for the input.

I have 12 of these wired units, color and
sound, with vcr to record and tv to see.
they are in several homes and business and
are the only way to go. I have had some of
them for 4 to 5 years outside!!!

I have many x10 cameras also.  All junk.
Not made for continuous use.  I had to hard
wire every single wireless cam, and run to
central location where I use an ATX 12 VDC
power supply to run them all.  These x10 PS
are terrible.  Connectors oxidize in humid
climate.  Wireless cams have short range.
Ninjas junk and make wireless cams range
drop to 2 feet.  On and on and on.  I am
slowly replacing every camera with
alternatives.  Was a big x10 fan for
years.  Now regret every transaction ever
made.  Enjoy.
