Hi,

I have installed a DS7000 kit. The security
console dials out my cellphone when the alarm
is tripped, but the recorded message starts
playing immediately after dialing out. So by
the time the cell phone rings and I pick it
up, say after 2-3 rings, the message has
already finished playing and there is not
even enough time to press 0 to listen in
(because the call is ended by the console).

I was hoping that the message begins playing
only after the line is answered. Anybody with
similar problems? Is there someway to set it
right or is this a possible defect?

If you continue to listen in, the message
will repeat several times before it hangs up
and dials the next number.

I find that within the alotted message time,
I repeat it twice, then there is no silence
when I answer my phone before the system
starts repeating the message again (yes it
does repeat)

i have just purchased this system and i
also find that the message begins to play
almost instantly the alarm is triggered,
but it doesnt even dial out and i have set
up the phone numbers to the instructions
provided but still nothing i do seems tog
et it to call the number i want it too any
ideas email me pls
