Timer failure

Hi there.  I just set up my x10 tonight and
started setting up timers.  modules wont
turn on or off with corresponding timer
that I set on my computer :( any ideas??

Jomar,
Do you have any manual transmitters.  You
didn't say if the modules work with them.

I don't use computer interfaces (altho I've
bought and tried several) for a number of
reasons:  I found them unreliable;  they
failed; and altho some macros would be nice,
I find them not worth the trouble.  I do use
an XC-262 Clock Timer by X10 USA, made in
Hong Kong - it's not as old as the ultra
sound remote control I still have, but it's
old, and still works great.  It's battery
backed too, fairly easy to program
(instructions permanently printed inside dust
cover), and I use the clock every day.
