New Forums.

Hopefully, this will be the start of someting big and better. Less crying about what's wrong with Active Home Pro, and more good ideas and tips for the community.

I like the new Forum software so far.  We'll see how well it does once we get more traffic.

Yesterday it worked.
Today it doesn't work.
X10 on Windows is like that.

I like all the options available, but will need some time to get used to them.  Hope X10 allows some time before the masses begin to post.    ***** Trying the modify feature now as sometimes my fingers are faster than my brain.*****

One strange problem I've encounted is that the login box you get if you use Firefox and the password box opens, if you type the username and password you registered with, it gives you an error mesage. If you use the username and password e-mailed to you, you can and then you can log in as yourself.

I like the new forum so far. It is nice to have a "real" forum format compared to the other one. I am using Firefox and haven't encountered any problems so far. :)

Hey everyone.  I am also just trying out the forum.  Been kind of busy lately so I haven't had much spare time, but I am hoping things will change soon.  So far the forum does seem greatly improved.

Now that messenges from the current (old) forums are being imported, I see many have the names of the original posters as the current poster, but in the Add-Ons topic (imported) I foound 1 that I posted in the old Add-ons for "Smart Upgrades" that is shown as "Forum Visitor".  Any way that can be done?

Dan, it's pretty easy for us to associate your old posts with your new user name. I've been working on doing that for the last couple hours, along with a few other things. If you can tell me what name in the old forum you used in the posts I need to assign to you, I can do that. Or, if you can tell me exact topics/posts, I can find and change those.

We're currently updating a big batch of the "Forum Guest" posts to show up as from distinct users.

Any post I started is under Dan Lawrence.  Unless you can strip each sub-post out of the entire thread, I will have to send you by-email the ones I recognize as mine.

BTW, I got hit by the "lLog-in Monster" about 9:30 (Baltimore time (where I am).  My login time is 8:35, my time is 11:39 PM so the forums are about 3 hours earlier than Eastern Time.  Would they be in Las Vegas?

Well Dan - I agree that this new forum format should mean less crying about the archaic old forum, but it does nothing to solve the problems people are having with their CM15As!
