Wireless vs Wired
« on: March 20, 2006, 11:53:54 AM »

I've got a lot of interference using my wireless camera though I've tried all the suggestions mentioned here like channel selection, turning off other devices, etc.  Basically, if I'm further away than 2 feet, the wavy lines prevent me from making out any of the pictures.

For those with wireless and wired cameras.  Do you see any interference with the wired models?

Thanks

I for one have no interference problems with my wired cameras. Even when my cordless phones wipe out the picture from my wireless cameras the picture from the wired cameras is still fine. I have two of the B&W wired cameras.

Thanks!  Another question.  X10.COM's data overload makes it very tough to find the data you need (ironic).
Is there a wired color camera other than the $499 one?

There are several. Check out this link. Read the descriptions. The color ones are clearly indicated. I have no experience with the color wired cameras so I can't offer any input as to there quality.
