Please note that if you use MyHouse you will have to update both the client and your main AHP system in order for communication to continue to work. If you aren't able to update your AHP system yet, use the following program to change the MyHouse configuration on your MyHouse Web Client system.

Install update and got a screen that wanted to send an error report to microsoft. I ignored it and it installed fine! not sure what the  ahp error was as I was in a hurry to do other things!  ??? but correct version shows and any previous glitches are gone as well, SO FAR! :) ;)

I ran the update, no funny Microsoft messages, and AHP even opened as the new version promptly.

I ran the link to only update my client since I have not yet been able to update my AHP system. I ran the program on my laptop, an Actix update was made when I launched the client on IE. The client still showed the old version 3.1.9 9 and I was not able to connect thru my office firewall. Any suggestions?

I'm running XP Pro. Not sure what you are asking with regards to my log in. I am connected directly via a wired connection onto my office LAN.

I just had the same problem on a test system here. We're working on it. You should be able to use this program to install the new client:

The link is active and I was successful saving the update file. When I attempted to install I ran into an error condition:

Could not communicate to the network server
error 3
407 Proxy Authentication Required

It gave me two options, one to abort or one to retry. I attempted to retry w/o success.

The problem with the new client version loading in the browser should be fixed now. The new client ActiveX didn't propagate correctly to all the servers at first, so we had to force the change around each of them.

I reloaded the update file and am still getting the error noted before when I try to install it.

cary: Can you try loading the new ActiveX again by going to myhouse.x10.com? You should get the new version that way this time.

So to be clear - I have not been able to successfully install the updated remote client code due to the error noted previously. Since I have not been able to upgrade the client, it still shows 3.1.9.9 when I launch it. I can install a new Actix file but this combination of new Actix and old remte client still doesn't work thru he firewall - not surprising. The nut that I have to crack is install of the new client code.

cary: If you go to myhouse.x10.com, and it loads the ActiveX (which is the same as the MyHouse Client) you are still ending up with 3.199? Can you try going into Program Files\Common Files\X10\Common\ and deleting antx.dll and then opening myhouse.x10.com again? You are work trying this, right? Are you behind a proxy server? Are you logged into the computer in such a way that you have the ability to install new software?

Did you update ActiveHome Pro on the computer where the CM15A is installed?
