New to X-10 community, would like to hear from anyone who has integrated DVR's with X-10 products or has tried, and found it not to be practible

I am thinking of doing it. Why do you think it is not practical. Thereticaly the VCR commander should learn the PLAY, REC AND STOP functions from the DVR's remote too. ???
