Can someone explain to me what the differences are between various models of switches?
I ordered WS12A's & WS14A's. I wanted a decorator style dimmer switch which could be used as a in a single and 3-way operation.
I received XPD3's and XPSS's switches. I am hoping they are the same switches. They look pretty much the same, but why the different part numbers?
Also, there was another thread that there is a switch with art number of XPDI3 and one WS467. What are these?

I think I may have found my answer...
The WS12A and WS14A are regular X10 part numbers, the XPD3 and XPSS are the X10 Pro counter-part numbers.
SO...
WS12A = XPD3 (decorator, dimmer, single/3-way operation)
WS13A = XPS3 (decorator, non-dimming, single/3-way operation)
WS14A = XPSS (decorator, slave/companion)
Am I correct now?

Yes the list looks correct.
