I downloaded the vanguard software and everytime I try to install it I get an installation error. I have sent an e-mail to X-10 over a week ago and have yet to receive a response.

Call X10 on the phone. Have your purchase info handy to ID yourself to them with. They will email you a new link.
The software is server installed. You can't download it and install later... you won't get all of it. You will need to click the "run" button and let the X10 servers install the software. X10 will keep (guard) the software... and will glady send a new link to you when you need a replacement.

Make sure your in "administrator mode" when you install.

I ordered a 4 cam system with vanguard software and got the email with the link to d/l vanguard yesterday. I tried everything and kept getting the "corrupt installation file" error. I emailed customer support and Eric Boyd sent me a zip file that installed perfectly! I'll post again if I have any problems after my order arrives.
