Hello all... I've owned X10 modules for about
10 years in the same house (I even had one of
those set-top boxes for the TV way back when
:).  Over the last 4 or 5 months I keep
having all of my wall switches come on
randomly.  Only my wall switchs... my two
lamp modules do not come one by themselves
nor appliance modules.  I've tried
everything... unplugging noise generating
devices which I thought might cause the
problem.  I've unplugged the RF receiver.
I've replaced the batteries in all of the
motion sensors.  I've changed the house code
on all of the modules.  If I clear the
computer interface (Fine Other Computers)and
check it later all of the unit lights that do
not match modules I have show red but ONLY
for the column of the currently set house
code!  The whole column shows Red and Green.
But like I said just for the column that
matches the house code.  Any ideas... do I
have a bad unit causing this noise?  Seems
like maybe the only thing that would match
just the house code column ?  And why just
the wall switches.  The number 1 wall switch
was the one that comes on the most so I
disconnected it and it still is happening to
the other wall switches.  Macro timer on a
lamp module seems to be working just fine and
it never turns on by itself (it is set to the
same house code).  Any ideas are welcome -
this is driving me crazy and my electric bill
up!

Apperently this is a common problem with the WS467 (and possibly others).  There are a couple I/O pins that have been left floating which can cause the module to turn on with a power spike.  If you tie one of these pins to ground (preferably through a 10K resistor) the problem should go away.
