Title: Online/Connect button keeps alternating

I can't seem to stay connected. My status info indicates I go online/offline every 30 sec... How can I keep a steady connection?
I'm running on a fat cable connection 8500+ kb/s down and 500+ kb/s up. So I doubt is my connection. Running NO virus software. I'm behind a Dlink router.
What can I do to correct this?

Unfortunately x10's severs continue to be main issues with many, and since they are short on IT people don't expect the problem to get solved soon! ::) :(

See if your modem and router are set to one of the following "smart keep alive" or "keep alive" or even "alive".
