Title: Impact of too many modules?
Post by: Crusty on November 30, 2011, 05:26:14 PM
I've seen a couple of great discussions on this but haven't been able to find them.  If I remember correctly, receive only modules like LM465's can be added and added with no negative impact, but two-way modules such as LM14A's cause either an impedance or induction problem and thus the number of these should be limited as much as possible.  Am I correct?  To what extent does the problem caused by the LM14A's propagate to other circuits (I assume it does not propagate across phases)?

Thanks,

The  power line transmitter in the Two Way modules can absorb some of the X10 power line signals. From others sending on the same branch circuit.
Same goes for any X10 power line transmitter.

I don't remember a number reccommended for maximum on a circuit, but someone else may.

Thanks Brian.
