Title: Multiple Timers (On/Off)
Post by: Snoochy on March 05, 2007, 01:31:25 PM
I can't seem to find this anywhere in here, but what I have is an exhaust fan in my cold cellar which I turn on with a timer in AHP.  What I would like to do is set it up to run the exhaust fan (i.e. run it for 1 hour each day) but at least 3 or 4 times a day.  Therefore, I need to turn on that switch 3 or 4 times during the day with a timer.

I think if you program one light switch with a timer, and try to set another timer for the same switch, the second one overwrites the first...correct me if I'm wrong, but that is what I have found.

Any ideas on how to turn on my fan for an hour at least 3 times per day?

Thanks very much.

If you are talking about AHP, you can have as many on/off times as you would like. Just click on new timer.

Ok, I will try it again in AHP.  However, for some reason, the first time I did that, when I went to put a second timer on the same module, it overwrote the original time.  I guess, thinking about it now, i have to add the switch multiple times, each with its own timer.

Thanks

Open the existing timer and while viewing it you will see a label to add new timer (on the right hand side of the screen). This is where you must do it. If this is not visable click on the advanced tab. I am not at home so can not run AHP to see exactly where it is. You do not need to create multiple switches.
