I just installed my new XX40A PTZ Pro camera.
I have two issues.
1) The pan works fine. But the center point of the pan is not straight out. Seems to be off by around 30 degrees.
2) The focus is way off. If I pan to the supporting structure, it is in sharp focus. If I pan to a point 30' away it is out of focus. Zoom has no effect on focus.
Is this camera just bad? Is there a way to adjust the focus?

I have the same camera and i do not see any indication that this camera auto-focus when you zoom in.
Notice the blue sign across from my home. You can see the word RENT through the tree limbs. it may not be all that clear due to the time of day and sun brightness.

Brand new to this forum, so may not be doing this correctly. I have the same camera and cannot get it to focus in any situation. Were you ever able to get yours to focus? Thanks!

The XX40a, the new XX60a and the old EasyN outdoor PTZ cameras are all similar in design so I assume the focus adjustment method will work for all.
I had requested info on focus adjustment for the new XX60A from Authinx.
Attached is what was forwarded to them from the manufacturer, this may or may not work for the XX40A.

Fixed: Rename it to a rtf before attempting to open.
