What are simple legal rules for outdoor residence cameras in Florida?

This is where I need to start before I can spec out any system!!

You might want to start with the Florida Attorney Generals office.

Has everyone who has a camera done the same thing?

I printed out the 40 pages of applicable FL statutes, and its predominantly all definitions.
Just thought someone might have a clue.

I know we have Floridians participating on the forum, but maybe they do not know well enough to comment. I used to live in Coral Springs and remember that Coral Springs "had their own set of rules" in addition to State regulation, hence the recommendation to check with the AG.

I actually doubt there are regulation against cameras for protection of property. Otherwise how would business, shopping centers, etc get away with CCTV cameras sprinkled around the parking lots? However there are restrictions on recording audio.

I just put them up in Louisiana I wouldnt think it matters....

Unless your fliming the beach :)
