you can only use 4 ninjas on one house
line. if you buy more than 4 cameras two
will always turn at the same time .
CR13A wont allow more i tried it.

Hi

I know this is a silly question. But did
you configure the CR13A to work with  more
than 4 cameras ie- 6,8,etc

Can I use 2 USB video adapters with 2 video
receivers to pick up video from cameras
mounted 180 degrees from each other?

YES you can run up to 16+ cameras on one
video reciever or 16 cameras on one VA11A.

you need the AHP program and controller,
simply setup all the housecodes to one (eg:
HC:B), and the unit codes as 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,
6, ect.
make a macro to first turn off all
housecode "B" then turn on the unitcode for
the specific camera.
As long as you turn off all cameras before
turning on the camera you want it will work
properly. You can NOT install more then one
VA11A, BUT you can run multiple video
inputs into ONE single VA11A by adding a
splitter, just making sure you turn off the
previous cameras before turning one on or
you will see a double picture or
interference.

this info came from X10 techs, as I asked
if I could use multiple VA11A's.

It will with lights but not ninjas.  well i
would of thought so to and i bought  10
ninjas and could only use 4 because as i
tried to hook up more, then 1 and 5 would
turn and 2 and 6 would turn and so on. i
spent two days on it and with x-10 and
they  said it wont work with more than 4
ninjas.  Even tho they had me buy the cr13a
earlier  they said that wont work either.
i bought 10 ninjas and 20 hardwired cameras
from q-see and tested it all out and they
have work great for over a year in all
weather but the limit is 4 and has nothing
to do with changing the house codes. you
can set them all different codes and it
makes no differance and x-10 says there is
no work around for it.

Tom,

I wonder how it is that I am able to run 5 Ninjas using the macros in AHP with no problems.
