Title: Change housecode dialog box
Post by: solareclipse on February 08, 2005, 12:06:24 PM
This is kind of a bug and kind of an
annoyance - the new dialog box that pops up
when you are updating the interface that
asks if you want to change your monitored
housecode - I have a lot of macros on C,
but no actual devices.  However, AHP sees
all these macros and keeps suggesting that
I change my monitored housecode to C.  I'm
not sure why, because while there are 13
macros on C, there are combined 16 devices
and macros on A.  Why do I keep getting the
dialog box?

Since we are now saving the Monitored House
Code setting in your data file (rather than
as a general setting), we wanted to make sure
that you knew what setting you were using. It
looks like we're not doing the calculation
exactly right, though. If you have more on A
than on C, it should keep A as the setting
and not bother you about it. We'll take a look.

Besides the function not being able to
count right, it really shouldn't count
macros at all.  Macros don't have state and
don't need to be monitored.
