Title: Want to run X10 through Laptop Advice needed

Hi, I have no landline.
Now I want to run through a laptop, and use a usb stick(B/Band)
I have power of course.
Now can anyone give advice if this will work Or will I need any programme other than the one they supply.
Also do the wireless camera run Batteries and how many and how long before u change them.

I am using my laptop with Windows 7 and my x-10 units work great!

So.... if you have power.. why battery powered cameras?

If you are planing to use more than one camera.
Only one can be On at a time or their signals step on each other.
The supplied power supplies switch off the other three in the Unit Group as one is turned On.
