When I select the CM15A Configuration page from the ActiveHome Pro software Tools Menu to set up the CM15A parameters the whole ActiveHome Pro software application crashes and closes. I am runing Windows 7 Pro, 32 bit. Is ActiveHome Pro, Version 3.236, compatible with Windows 7? I just loaded it today.
Any suggestions?
Thanks! ???

You may want to try the latest revision of AHP
3.305

#:) Thanks... That was it! CM15A works great now with Timers & Macros!

Did you remember to change your Lamp and Appliance Modules to the "Older Lamps (no soft-start)? There's a whole thread here on it.

What does that have to do with the original question - about AHP crashing?

Everything. 3.305 won't work properly with older modules without doing that, as you well know.

Who said the OP had older modules?

Because he posted he was using 3.236, which had the same modules AHP had until 3.304 and 3.305 came out. Since both have soft-start modules in Lamps, when you open an .ahx file from an earlier version you get the soft-start modules. If you don't change the the modules to the correct versions, your timers don't work. You know that.

But who said that the ACTUAL modules he has are the older, non-SoftStart ones? Maybe his are new enough that they ARE Soft-Start.

3.236 was issued long before Soft-Start modules came out. 3.236 followed 3.228. So the OP might have bought some SS later, but then he'd fallen into the "have to use the LM14A" trick, which he didn't say, so the presumption is standard modules.

1. Version 3.236 was released in September of 2008. It is entirely possible that modules purchased after that date ARE the SoftStart version.
2. The next release, 3.264, wasn't released until March of 2010. We know that by that date, all the modules X10 was selling were the newer SoftStart versions.
3. The OP didn't indicate what types of modules he has, he might not have any lamp modules at all (so the SoftStart issue wouldn't apply).
4. The type of modules he has is irrelevant when talking about the problem he reported - AHP crashing when he goes into the Configuration screen.
He didn't report issues with the timers not working, he reported problems using the program itself.
