Title: Pro Dual Floodlight Issue
Post by: jaws369 on April 17, 2006, 08:27:45 PM
I have a Pro Dual Floodlight Module and the darn thing turns on at Dusk and stays on until I either flip the switch or go into Active Home to turn it off.  I can't seem to find any setting that makes it NOT come on just because it's dusk.  I just want it to be a sensor all the time.  I have the light POT at about mid range for that setting.

Any help?
Thanks.

Get a XPS3 switch and wire it to control the PR511. Create the timers for the XPS3, do not have any timers for the PR511.  Both should appear in AHP. I have mine set up this way, the PR511 is operational from dusk to 12:30 AM daily and not at any other time.

According to the directions, you would want the "THIS UNIT' switch on the light set to "SENSOR" position.

They also mention this:

"Also, if the Motion Monitor is accidentally powered off (from a wall switch that
controls the power to it) while the floodlights are on, it will stay on when the power is
reapplied. After dark, (depending on the position of the dusk setting) trigger the
Motion Monitor by walking in front of it, then after the delay time you’ve set the
floodlights will turn off and return to normal operation."
