Title: ActiveHome Pro issues
Post by: vette66_00 on December 12, 2010, 05:11:23 PM
Not sure if these are known issues or not but please help if you know of how to fix.

I have 2 cameras , one is Flood Light, one Low light with Ninja, 3 switches, 2 Active Eye Motions sensors.

I currently have cameras on house code A along with the motion sensors for recording video. On A I have my switches that go on and off a certain times of day to control pumps and a light.

I keep getting a error message that ActiveHome Pro has caused an error and has to shut down. During this time it does not record and does not turn anything on or off.

Is there a quick fix or 3rd party software that works better for running macros that allow recording video or maybe 2 programs that can be used at the same time.

Computer being used has 1gig ram 2.4 Dual Core Processor and this is the only thing it runs. I have other issues also like emailing and whatnot but this is more important.

Thanks in advanced

Chris

Are you trying to run Vanguard Internet Control Center Software and AHP at the same time?
If so thats the reason for the error.
Only one program at a time can use the video driver.
Get rid of the Vanguard software!

I really have never used the Vangaurd. It had errors to start with but it is installed. I only use the ActiveHome Pro. So should I still uninstall it? If its not running would that still cause the error?

If it isn't running it shouldn't cause a issue.
However I would uninstall it just in case.
