Title: A and B Channel
Post by: craftman on October 27, 2006, 07:30:47 AM
I recently added a few modules to my system to control my holiday lights and decorations.  I set them all up for B channel (B1, B2,  B3) and then put timers on them.  My timers for A channel work find but B channel will not turn on, will turn off, but not on, everything works fine from the computer interface...Hints?

You may first want to try plugging in one of your B modules in an outlet that you have an A plugged into that works on A. If the B module works there you may have a phase problem or noise problem. Give that a try and let us know how it went. Also if your controlling them from a remote be sure that the transceiver house code for A and B is checked under configuration for your CM15A.

I guess I should ask if that is what you have. AHP and a CM15A controller?

Did you upload everything to the CM15A?  Go back and review all the new modules and their timers.

Also, If the addtional modules are only used at holiday times, create a new .ahx file for the holiday period. Load your regular file for most of the year, the holiday file when it is needed.

I have 6 modules on housecode B, all have timers and everything works.

Currently, I have 4 different files for certain times of the year
