Hey guys, i have my xmas lights on timers. They are set to go off every night during the week at 5 30 and turn off at 11 and on saturdays, turn on at 530 and stay on till 12. Its worked the first day, but now, the lights turn on during the day, in the morning and whenever. Why isnt the CMA15 listening? i checked the time in hardware config and everything is ok. Also, i have a motion sesnor in my driveway to set off a macro that turns on my remote chime.... but it wont chime unless its after 530 (i set a condition) . Well same thing, it doesnt listen to the condition. Sensor, macro, and chime are all on different codes. Except sensor and macro. are on same code.... whats going on?

Is it possible your batteries are getting weak and causing flaky results?
-
hey i changed the batteries, did a complete reset, and the timers work for the first day, then on day 2, they turn on and off an hour before the set times... help
-
OK, now.
Is your location set correctly in AHP and the proper time zone applied?
If everything is correct, create a new file with a single module and timer and see if that works correctly. If it does, your main file has become corrupted and you will have to create it again from scratch.

locorider21:
AHP gets it's time zone setting from Windows!
Check your windows time zones and time something has changed them!

Or, he never changed Windows location, which is Pacific by default.
Whenever I install Windows, I always set the time zone to Eastern during setup.

Which version of windows are you using? What is the error message you get?

windows xp home... i changed the time zone in microsoft... reset everything and no change.... still comes on early.

Windows is now in the Mountain Time Zone, correct?
Did you try to set your location and time zone in AHP correctly?
If both Windows and AHP are in the Mountain Time zone, did you clear the interface and redownload to it?

My system has been acting the same way and seems to correspond with the lastest Windows XP update.
-
Which is very strange.
I run WinXP, all the MS patches (all 12 billion of them, it seems) and both Windows and AHP are in the Eastern Time Zone. AHP is set to Baltimore, Maryland, where I happen to live. I have zero time problems.
My suggestion somehow your AHP installation is corrupt. What you need to so is back up all your .ahx files, uninstall AHP and (presuming you kept the e-mail with the software download link) re-download AHP version 3.204. Once AHP is re-installed, set to to your Time Zone and local settings and re-open your .ahx files.
